Introducetion:

A rotary drum dryer is a common drying equipment mainly used to remove moisture from materials. It can be heated by hot air flow or radiation to evaporate the moisture in the material, thereby achieving the purpose of drying, widely used in fields such as printing, metallurgy, chemical industry, textile, and agriculture and animal husbandry.

Working principle

The working principle of the rotary drum dryer is mainly to transfer heat energy to the material through heat conduction, convection, and radiation, causing the moisture in the material to evaporate. The specific process includes: the hot air flow moves forward from the tail, fully contacts with the material, and transfers thermal energy to the material through heat conduction, convection, and radiation, so that the moisture in the material is continuously evaporated inside the cylinder. The induced draft device at the inlet extracts a large amount of moisture and humidity to prevent secondary pollution caused by dust discharge. By using devices such as internal spiral stirring, sweeping, and plate copying, the material movement is propelled to complete the entire drying process.
